Reason & Republic Announces Comprehensive Vulnerability Scans for Enhanced Cybersecurity

Wednesday - April 26, 2023

ANDERSON, SC – Reason & Republic, a leading Education Management Organization, has
announced it will be conducting comprehensive vulnerability scans to enhance its cybersecurity
posture.

The vulnerability scans will be performed by CISA (Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security
Agency, an operational component of the Department of Homeland Security) working in
conjunction with our IT partner, Cyber Solutions, Inc. Their cybersecurity experts will identify
and prioritize vulnerabilities that could be exploited by cyber attackers. The scans will be
conducted on all systems and applications, including both internal and external-facing assets.

“Ensuring the security of our systems and protecting our school’s data is of paramount
importantance to us,” said Jamie Brumer, Director of Operations. “Conducting comprehensive
vulnerability scans will help us identify and address any potential vulnerabilities before they can
be exploited by cybercriminals. We are very pleased to report receiving top scores for Belton
Preparatory Academy, Summit Classical School and The South Carolina Preparatory Academy.”

The vulnerability scans will be conducted on a regular basis to ensure that any new
vulnerabilities are quickly identified and addressed. This will provide added assurance to Reason
& Republic families that their data is being protected at all times.

In addition to the vulnerability scans, Reason & Republic is also committed to staying up-to-date
with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies to provide the highest level of protection.
